OVERVIEW OF SPRING TRAINING
NEE Spring Training consists of weekend and weekday training sessions (with an option to choose one or the other). If opting in, these training sessions will lead to summer tournament play.
team placement
We will be using the first 3 weeks of practice to evaluate for Spring/Summer tournament play.
ALL athletes will be placed into a group based on performance - Previous team selections will not be factored into Spring/Summer decision-making.

Teams representing NEE at the Regional Club Championships and the National Club Championship if qualified. Various other scrimmage opportunities are to be announced.
The Regional Teams (U14, U16 and U19)
Teams representing NEE at the Shooting Star Regional Cup (U16+U19) and Shooting Star Kids Cup (U14). Various other scrimmage opportunities are to be announced.
The Local Teams (U12, U14, U16 and U19)
Teams representing NEE at local events, tournaments, and scrimmages. See below for local playing opportunities that have been announced thus far.

spring training series

*Will only offer U10 age group if we gather enough interest!

DATES: 10 sessions

April: 16th 5-9pm, 22nd (SATURDAY) 7-9pm OR 23rd 8-10am, 30th 5-9pm (evaluation sessions)
May: Sundays 5-9pm: 7, 14, 21, OFF MDW
June: Sundays 5-9pm 4, 11, 18, 25
** Players are guaranteed 9 training sessions if cancellations occur due to inclement weather
TIMES:
Full Blocks will usually be 5pm-9pm. UML is still working on some possible conflicts with our schedule but we wanted to get this out ASAP. Please just understand that some dates listed below are subject to change due to UML Spring sports receiving priority over outside rentals.
U10-U14s, Local U16s, Local U19s will train in the first 2 hour block
National and Regional U16s, and National and Regional U19s will train in second 2 hour block
**Block assignments are subject to change once we collect all final registrations and have a better idea of numbers.
weekday Practice Series:
FOR WHO: ALL
U14-U19: ALL Field players AND GKS.
**STRONGLY recommended for goalies who want small group private skill training. Sundays will be geared toward gameplay, and the weeknight session is imperative for individual GK development.
U10s and U12s: Will offer for this age group if we gather enough interest!

** Players are guaranteed 11 training sessions if cancellations occur due to inclement weather
