2022 Fall training
OVERVIEW OF FALL TRAINING
NEE Fall Training consists of 9 guaranteed weekly training sessions (possibly 10) leading up to Shooting Star Thanksgiving Tournament.
SS Thanksgiving is one of the largest and most premier field hockey tournaments in the country. Bringing over 180 teams to Virginia, Shooting Star Tournament fields club teams throughout North America in four age divisions (U12, U14, U16 & U19).
Nearly 3,000 athletes compete over this three-day period in front of over 170 DI, DII and DIII college coaches. Read More HERE

We will be using our first 3-4 fall sessions to evaluate for the Shooting Star Showcase over Thanksgiving.
As a reminder, we have EIGHT bids (1 U14, 4 U16, 3 U19), opportunities are wide open to make a team!
Tryout groups to be emailed once all registrations are collected by 9/6.

All fall training takes place here - you will be assigned to either the blue (astroturf) or green (field turf) - for a 2 hour training block.

YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN OUR FALL TRAINING SEASON IF YOU WANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS LEAGUE.

If you are a middle school athlete, we have an added on fall club league where we compete against other club programs in the region.

We have applied for two U14 11 v 11 bids. Our goal is to select 14-15 players per U14 team.
selections
After we gather how many athletes are interested (9/1 is final date to express interest) and want to be evaluated, we will be using past summer training/participation, as well as our first practice on September 10th (for new players) to select final rosters.
Teams to be announced on Monday, Sept. 12th.
